The Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Analyst is a technical expert in designing, developing, and supporting application integration solutions. They identify and specify complex interface requirements and translate them into comprehensive integrated solutions. They collaborate on all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) and utilize appropriate development tools and technologies in keeping with our IT architecture. They also provide 24x7 monitoring and support for our core integration tools, services, and existing application integrations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develops software of moderate complexity based on specifications provided.
2. Implements software packages for which moderate configuration and integration is required; interaction with vendor resources remotely or onsite may be required.
3. Integrates applications with moderately complex interfaces based on specifications provided.
4. Provides 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for one or more applications classified as niche, core, or mission-critical.
5. Supports the request and analysis phases of SDLC by producing required documentation and estimates with review by more senior staff.
6. Executes the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC by producing the prescribed deliverables with review by more senior staff.
7. Participates on an Application Development and Support team as well as project teams under the direction of their manager, senior team members, or project managers. May function as Technical Lead on small projects.
8. Acquires and maintains knowledge of business areas relevant to projects and application support assignments.
9. Acquires and maintains appropriate technical skills.
EDUCATION, LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Degree must be from an institution accredited by the Commissions on Colleges.
Bachelorís degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent discipline.
At least one professional certification in specific job-related disciplines preferred in addition to the requirements above.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
∑ Expert in service oriented architecture principles, integration patterns, and configuration of a messaging architecture.
∑ Proficient at developing, deploying, testing, and troubleshooting Microsoft BizTalk Server integration solutions including schemas, maps, pipelines, and orchestrations.
∑ Skilled in process and data modeling and works effectively with business analysts to create canonical schemas.
∑ Proficient in .Net development using C#, SQL, TFS, WCF, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, XPATH, and EDI.
∑ Skilled in BizTalk Server administration including setup of ports, core adapters, content-based routing, and monitoring of applications using the Administration Console, BAM, ESB Toolkit, ESB Management Portal, and itineraries.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Four to five years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
∑ Monitoring BizTalk Server and/or SQL Server with Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM), using the BizTalk Deployment Framework (BTDF), and developing with Host Integration Server (HIS) components.
